Frequently Asked Questions

  • Where is Cliffs of Moher Retreat located?

We are located in Liscannor, Co. Clare, Ireland, along the breathtaking Wild Atlantic Way, just minutes from the Cliffs of Moher. Our peaceful retreat centre is surrounded by rolling green fields and stunning ocean views.

  • What time is check-in? Can I arrive early?

Check-in is after 4:00 PM on the first day of your retreat. We kindly ask that guests do not arrive early as we may have another retreat in progress or be in the process of preparing the space for your arrival. To ensure a peaceful transition for all guests, we are unable to accommodate early arrivals, day-before check-ins, or bag drop-offs. We recommend planning your travel accordingly to arrive after 4:00 PM, when our team will be ready to welcome you into the retreat experience.

  • Can I stay an extra night before or after the retreat?

At this time, we do not offer the option to stay an extra night before or after the retreat. Our schedule is carefully structured, and we may have another retreat in progress or be preparing the space for incoming guests. We recommend arranging accommodation nearby if you need to extend your stay in the area. Towns like Lahinch, Doolin, or Ennistymon offer great options for extra nights.

  • How do I get to the retreat?

The nearest airport is Shannon Airport (58km / 36 miles away). You can also fly into Dublin or Cork Airport and take public transport or a rental car. We recommend:

    • Train to Ennis, followed by a taxi to the retreat.
    • Bus to Lahinch or Liscannor, with a short taxi ride to our centre.
    • Private transfers can also be arranged upon request.
  • Do I need to bring my own yoga mat?

No need! We provide high-quality yoga mats, bolsters, blankets, and props in our studio. Just bring comfortable clothing and an open heart.

  • What type of yoga is taught at the retreat?

We offer a mix of dynamic vinyasa, hatha, and yin/restorative yoga depending on the retreat. Some retreats also include meditation, breathwork, and somatic movement practices.

  • Do I need to be an experienced yogi to attend?

Not at all! Our retreats are open to all levels—from beginners to advanced practitioners. Our skilled teachers will guide you based on your experience and comfort level.

  • What should I bring?

    • Comfortable clothing for yoga and relaxation
    • Layers & rain gear (weather can be unpredictable!)
    • Swimwear (if you plan on sea swimming or using the cold plunge)
    • A journal (for reflection and intention-setting)
    • Hiking shoes (if your retreat includes a guided walk)
  • What kind of food is served?

We serve nourishing, plant-based meals prepared by our in-house chef using fresh, organic, and locally sourced ingredients. Meals are designed to support energy, digestion, and overall well-being.

  • Can you accommodate dietary restrictions?

Yes! We cater to vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and dairy-free diets. Please inform us of any allergies or dietary needs when booking.

  • What are the accommodation options?

We offer a range of cozy, stylish rooms, including:

    • Single ensuite rooms (private bathroom)
    • Single shared-bathroom rooms (shared with one other room)
    • Twin/Double ensuite rooms (perfect for friends or couples)

Our rooms are simple, elegant, and designed for deep rest—with hotel-quality mattresses and serene views.

  • I’ve never done an ice bath before. Can I still join?

Absolutely! Our Wim Hof-certified instructors will guide you through the process, ensuring a safe, gradual, and empowering experience. You’ll learn breathing techniques and mindset practices to make cold exposure more comfortable and transformative.

  • Is cold exposure safe?

Yes, when done correctly! We follow scientific, structured, and supervised protocols. However, if you have any medical concerns (e.g., heart conditions), please consult a doctor before participating.

  • How do I book a retreat?

You can book directly through our website by selecting your retreat, choosing your accommodation, and making a secure online payment.

  • What is your cancellation policy?

    • More than 6 weeks before your retreat → Full refund minus an admin fee.
    • Less than 6 weeks before your retreat → Partial refund or credit toward a future retreat.
